What you can experience
The sand boxes at the large playground in Verdensskoven are made in the shape of South America and Africa, which you will see from the large signs that, in an adventurous style, also point towards Ønskeøen (Neverland) and Månen (the moon). The playground equipment is innovative and challenges the children’s imagination, and they soon discover that there is equipment for balancing, climbing, and sliding.
You may also meet a variety of the world’s different animal species in the form of sculptures, and the children can thus pet a lion, visit the condor’s nest, or get a glimpse of a crocodile or a bear.
Tips and tricks
You are welcome to bring your own lunch and enjoy it on a bench by the playground.
In the spring, you may catch tadpoles in the lake in Verdensskoven.
Also your four-legged friends can have a great day in Verdensskoven which has its own dog walking forest.
